If you are looking for a quiet ceiling fan, you must use a DC motor. 

This technology allows the motor to operate without vibration, even if you have a plasterboard ceiling. 

This is not the case for fans with AC motors. 

It is therefore highly recommended to use the filters on the left, in the product listings, and tick the DC box. ( picture down)

Once this box is ticked, the site will send you the products with this type of motor and eliminate the others. 

There is no filter for the fan bodies (this is a good suggestion) so you will have to find the products with chrome body. 

Important detail, on a DC fan the speed regulation is much better than on an AC, they have 6 speeds instead of 3, which allows the first speeds to be very smooth.

This allows, for example, a 15 m² room to accept a 122 Cm fan, which are classified on site between 16 and 20 m². 

You can therefore increase your choice up to two sizes when you are in DC. 

The light : 

Good light is good for you, but not necessarily good for me.

Why? Simply because our eyes do not see in the same way, out of sensitivity, but also out of habit. 

It is obvious that in northern Europe, very cold industrial white light ( ice) is not acceptable, because normal light is lower than in southern Europe. 

Sometimes in the same country, France, Germany and even England, it is common to see two main tones. 

The 3000Kv, which is a rather warm, yellower light spot, and pure white, which is white ( 4000 Kv). The Ice White, 6000 Kv is reserved for open environments. 

Colour is one thing, but also counts the power, which is expressed in Lms. 1000 Lms corresponds to a 120 watt filament bulb, so it is quite powerful. 

Finally, there are two light sources, one is the LED bulb, with a base E27, E17 etc... and there are the LED plates. 

The LED plates are generally guaranteed more than 10,000 hours of operation, and one advantage is that they diffuse the light much better on the light point.  

The light is better distributed because these plates are made up of an average of 20 LEDs on a plate, which results in a uniform light point and more precise light diffusion angles. 

disadvantages, the plates are fixed with their characteristics, these characteristics cannot be changed. 

That said, more and more models are appearing with light points that incorporate 3 tones that you select with your remote control. Finally, the best thing about the light point is that it is equipped with a dimmer, but this is still very rare. 

The led bulbs, on the other hand, are more versatile, you can change the bulb whenever you want, and choose the characteristics. 

Disadvantage, they make "stains" on the diffusers, not always very nice... 

Likewise, use the filters to find one or other of the associated technologies.
