These ceiling fans are a perfect solution for large rooms or those with higher ceilings. They can of course also be installed in smaller rooms if you do not need lighting. However, there are several factors to consider when purchasing a ceiling fan:

1. Size of the room

The diameter of the ceiling fan depends on the size of the room. For rooms from 0 to 10 square meters, we recommend, for example, a fan with a diameter of 76 cm.

For areas of 17 to 35 square meters, the diameter should be 132 cm and so on.

2. Height of the ceiling

The optimal ceiling height for a safe installation of your ceiling fan is 230 cm. In the case of a higher ceiling, however, it is possible to extend the fan with a down rod.

3. Materials

Although wooden blades are considered a synonym of elegance for the majority of people, they are not always practical. Such blades can be deformed quickly by humidity and therefore they are not suitable for installation in kitchens. In humid rooms, you should install ceiling fans with blades made either of ABS or of aluminum.

4. Type of room

 In the bedroom? Then it is better to choose a ceiling fan with DC motor, because such fans are barely audible in contrast to fans with AC motors. Ceiling fans with DC motors are characterized by their very quiet operation and some are Hyper Silence - labeled, i.e. they are absolutely inaudible up to level 3.

5. Heat recovery

Did you know that you can use your fan not only in summer but also in winter? You just need a fan with summer/winter mode. Their blades turn clockwise and counterclockwise and in winter, they manage to bring down the warm air accumulated at the ceiling (because warm air is lighter-weighted than cold air). You will find that this will significantly reduce your electricity bills.
