Motor

All Tenerife ceiling fans are equipped with a DC motor made of 100% copper and fitted with self-lubricating ball bearings. These features ensure exceptionally smooth and quiet operation.

Advantages:

  • Precise speed control:
Unlike AC fans, DC motors allow more precise control thanks to multiple speed levels. This model offers 6 speed settings.
  • Low energy consumption:
DC motors deliver the same performance as AC motors while using up to 50% less energy.
  • Hyper Silence:
Designed for ultra-quiet operation. Up to level 3, the fan is virtually inaudible; at higher speeds, only the airflow may be noticeable.

The Tenerife fan includes two downrods (12.5 cm and 25 cm). Optional extension rods of 60, 120, and 180 cm are also available.

It can be easily connected to a standard AC power supply, as the transformer is integrated into the motor.

Blades

All Tenerife blade sets consist of 3 blades made from durable ABS or wood. Depending on your preference, you can install either 2 or 3 blades.

Current blade set: P4

  • Suitable for rooms:
    • Summer: 25–35 m²
    • Winter: 60–90 m²
  • Diameter: 127 cm
  • Material: ABS
  • Airflow: 5400–9720 m³/h
  • Speed: 75–205 RPM
  • Noise level: 28–48 dB
  • Power consumption: 5–40 W

Remote Control

All Tenerife fans come with a remote control that provides access to all functions:

  • Speed control
  • Light on/off and dimming
  • Timer
  • Memory function
  • Thermostat
  • Wi-Fi control

The integrated thermostat automatically selects the optimal speed based on room temperature:

  • 0–19°C → Speed 1
  • 19–21°C → Speed 2
  • 22–23°C → Speed 3
  • 24–26°C → Speed 4
  • 26–28°C → Speed 5
  • Above 28°C → Speed 6

The thermostat function can be deactivated via the remote control.

What is heat redistribution?

Certain ceiling fans help mix the air in a room, creating a balanced temperature and improving heating efficiency—especially in rooms with ceilings higher than 3 meters.

Warm air naturally rises and accumulates near the ceiling, while the lower part of the room remains cooler. The higher the ceiling, the greater the heat loss. In rooms with a height of 6 meters, temperature differences of up to 12°C can occur.

Ceiling fans with reverse function redistribute this warm air back down into the living area, where it is needed. This helps maintain a consistent temperature and can reduce heating costs by up to 30%.

Understanding the Repairability Score: A Key Indicator for Conscious Consumers

What is the Repairability Score? The repairability score is an indicator designed to inform consumers about the ease of repair of ventilation products. This score, presented on a scale of 0 to 10, evaluates several aspects of the product, such as the ease of disassembly, the availability of spare parts, and the relative cost of repairs.

Why is it important? In a world where sustainability and ecology are becoming increasingly important, the repairability score helps consumers make informed choices. By opting for products with a high score, consumers can not only save money over long periods but also contribute to the reduction of electronic waste.

Disclaimer: It is essential to distinguish the repairability score specific to ventilation from the general repairability index. Currently, the standard repairability index is not directly applicable to ventilation systems. This is why we have developed our own repairability score, adapted to the particularities of our products.

What is the Repairability Score for Ventilation?

The repairability score we calculate internally is a key indicator for evaluating the ease of repair and durability of our ventilation systems. This score takes into account several factors:

  1. Documentation: We evaluate the availability and quality of installation and repair manuals. Clear and complete documentation is essential to facilitate interventions on our products.
  2. Product Disassembly: This criterion examines the ease of access to the different components, particularly the critical elements. We consider whether it is possible to carry out repairs without having to return the product due to the complexity of certain manipulations.
  3. Availability of Spare Parts: We distinguish two main suppliers:
    1. Assemblers: They generally stock parts, such as motors and blades, due to their compatibility with several models. This reduces the likelihood of major changes from year to year and ensures good availability of spare parts.
    2. Finished Product Distributors: Their commitment to product longevity influences their decision to stock spare parts. Depending on their commitments, they may or may not decide to change their product ranges and stock parts.
  4. Fan Boutique's Commitment to Product Longevity: Our company is committed to updating these indexes by sharing the experiences of other customers and the difficulties or ease of obtaining parts from the manufacturer.

In conclusion, the repairability score is a valuable tool for promoting more responsible and sustainable consumption. By choosing products with a high score, consumers can positively influence manufacturing practices while benefiting from more durable and economically advantageous devices.
