The principle of misting is quite similar to that of the refresher in the physical principle.

The idea is to use water to absorb the calories (so heat) from the air.

How does it work ?

The "old foggers" were putting pressure, thanks to a water compressor, on water that passed through a water circuit and escaped through nozzles.
