Rafy 195 is a great alternative to conventional air conditioners because it does not dry out the air. However, it can only decrease the temperature at 5 °C . It stands somewhere between a fan and an air conditioner. Rafy 195 is specially designed for extra large areas from 150 -200 sqm. Obviously, it is thought not as a domestic but rather industrial and commercial use.

Rafy 195 consumes 350 Watts only, which is not that much compared with an air conditioner (even the best ones consume 800 Watts).

The effect produced by the Rafy is relaxing and cool, in fact it is similar to a sea breeze because it cools the air by evaporation.

The Rafy principle is adiabatic. Adiabatic is the effect caused by the evaporation of water under the effect of heat.

The advantage of this technique is twofold: it lowers the temperature and it filters the air particles: pollen, dust, and other air contaminators.

Compared to air conditioners, the coolers are quieter because they do not have compressors and you can keep the window open. Besides, it humidifies the air and therefore they are particularly recommendable for sensitive people.

Nevertheless, this product is not to be used in humid climates.

Rafy 195 is extremely powerful and blows air from 3 sides. Besides, Purline opted for an 80 L/ 17 gal tank equipped with a drainage.

Please keep in mind that you can only decrease the temperature from from 2 ° to 5 °.
