Industrial ceiling fan 142 cm IPX5 for wet and very humid environments.
Model: "TDAX 1400 I IPX5".
This industrial fan is designed to withstand dust, humidity, intense heat, or simply splashing water. The TDAX promises this with a 15 year warranty.
This industrial ceiling fan has a modern look and can be installed in a kitchen, cutting room, bar for example.
In outdoor environments the fan really plays its role, exposed to high humidity, occasional watering, or dusty spaces. It guarantees you a continuous operation in any situation.
This "tropicalized" IPx5 version is certified IPx5 EN60529 (97)+A1(100) but also complies with directive 2006/42/EC, which means that humidity or exposure to water and dirt has no effect on this product. These blades are lacquered, so it will be difficult to rust them.
The engine casing is made of enamelled steel and painted with a water-resistant lacquer paint to avoid rust spots.
Its assembly is sealed by joints on all its elements, preventing dust from reaching the engine.
The motor is a classic AC motor, it receives H protection, which allows it to operate in ambient temperatures up to 45°!
This industrial ceiling fan is reversible and controllable with a housing and inverter. The control of this fan is optional, don't rely on a remote control (otherwise you lose IPx5) but on wall control boxes, sold separately.
In case you don't find the controller you are looking for on the site, you can contact us, because there are many controllers that are not on the site, but that we have in stock.
Here is an IPx5 industrial ceiling fan, which you can use in industry, greenhouses, ovens, bakeries, storage of dusty products, agriculture, stables, henhouses, in short in all cases where you have humidity levels of more than 95% or watered areas.

Discover the Repairability Index
This indicator represents a new resource to help you make more sustainable decisions daily.
Understanding the Repairability Score: A Key Indicator for Conscious Consumers
What is the Repairability Score? The repairability score is an indicator designed to inform consumers about the ease of repair of ventilation products. This score, presented on a scale of 0 to 10, evaluates several aspects of the product, such as the ease of disassembly, the availability of spare parts, and the relative cost of repairs.
Why is it important? In a world where sustainability and ecology are becoming increasingly important, the repairability score helps consumers make informed choices. By opting for products with a high score, consumers can not only save money over long periods but also contribute to the reduction of electronic waste.
Disclaimer: It is essential to distinguish the repairability score specific to ventilation from the general repairability index. Currently, the standard repairability index is not directly applicable to ventilation systems. This is why we have developed our own repairability score, adapted to the particularities of our products.
What is the Repairability Score for Ventilation?
The repairability score we calculate internally is a key indicator for evaluating the ease of repair and durability of our ventilation systems. This score takes into account several factors:
- Documentation: We evaluate the availability and quality of installation and repair manuals. Clear and complete documentation is essential to facilitate interventions on our products.
- Product Disassembly: This criterion examines the ease of access to the different components, particularly the critical elements. We consider whether it is possible to carry out repairs without having to return the product due to the complexity of certain manipulations.
- Availability of Spare Parts: We distinguish two main suppliers:
- Assemblers: They generally stock parts, such as motors and blades, due to their compatibility with several models. This reduces the likelihood of major changes from year to year and ensures good availability of spare parts.
- Finished Product Distributors: Their commitment to product longevity influences their decision to stock spare parts. Depending on their commitments, they may or may not decide to change their product ranges and stock parts.
- Fan Boutique's Commitment to Product Longevity: Our company is committed to updating these indexes by sharing the experiences of other customers and the difficulties or ease of obtaining parts from the manufacturer.
In conclusion, the repairability score is a valuable tool for promoting more responsible and sustainable consumption. By choosing products with a high score, consumers can positively influence manufacturing practices while benefiting from more durable and economically advantageous devices.
