Venus KlassFn
Extension rod, 120 cm for the Venus by Klassfan, white
Available in: 60 and 120 cm
Wired: yes
When is a down rod indispensable?
Summer operation:
If the ceiling fan is used in summer, the distance between the floor and the blades of the device must be between 2.5 and 3 m.
If the ceiling is higher, the greater distance is compensated by a larger diameter of the fan. Example:
In a room of 50 m² with a ceiling of 3 m, you need a ceiling fan of 166 cm. However, if the ceiling is 5 m high, then a ceiling fan of 240 cm (diameter) must be installed (every 50 cm + 1 size).
However, this problem can be solved by installing an additional down rod. It allows you to reduce the distance between the floor and the blades and thus the diameter of the device.
Winter operation:
If you want to use the ceiling fan for destratification in winter, the opposite rule applies - for optimal distribution of the warm air, the distance between the ceiling and the blades of the fan should be at least 1 meter.
Attention: this ceiling rod replaces the original rod (s) that are included in the scope of delivery of the respective fan.
Attention: The down rods are not necessarily supplied with the connections of your fan, rewiring is required, preferably with micro-dominos (not included) to connect the fan motor and the receiver.
IMPORTANT: No returns are accepted for the ceiling rodes. Please make sure you need one before placing your order!
