The Rafy 99 is the best alternative in places where the installation of an air conditioner is impossible.

Rafy 99  is a great alternative to conventional air conditioners because it does not dry out the air. However, it can only decrease the temperature at 5 °C . It stands somewhere between a fan and an air conditioner.

Rafy 99  consumes 70 Watts only, which is nothing compared with an air conditioner (even the best ones consume 800 Watts).

The effect produced by the Rafy is relaxing and cool, in fact it is similar to a sea breeze because  it cools the air by evaporation.

The Rafy principle is adiabatic. Adiabatic is the effect caused by the evaporation of water under the effect of heat.

The advantage of this technique is twofold: it lowers the temperature and it filters the air particles: pollen, dust, and other air contaminators.

Compared to air conditioners, the coolers are quieter because they do not have compressors and you can keep the window open. Besides, it humidifies the air and therefore they are particulary recommendable for sensitive people.

Nevertheless, this product is not to be used in humid climates.

Rafy 99  is equipped with wheels and handle to facilitate its transportation. It has 3 speeds of operation and a 1 gal tank. You can also place ice cubes in it to improve its efficiency.

Please keep in mind that you can only decrease the temperature from from 2 ° to 5 °.

Moreover, Purline added an ionizer in order to rectify the air into positive ion.
